Disney on Ice - Bankers Life Fieldhouse - January 24-27 - Take your family downtown to see your favorite Disney characters. This year's show includes Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie, Tinker Bell, The Little Mermaid, Lightning McQueen and many more. Tickets range from $10-$70.  

**FREE** Monster Bash 2013 - Georgia Street - January 26 - Before the Monster Jam, attend a tailgate party on Georgia Street. From noon-6pm see cars and trucks up close, enjoy music, food and more.  

Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam - Lucas Oil Stadium - January 26 - If your kids love the monster trucks, Grave Digger and Max-D, you will want to take them to Lucas Oil Stadium Saturday night. Tickets range from $15-$125 and kids under 2 are free. 

Devour Downtown - Various Downtown Restaurants - Now-February 3 - Looking for a date night idea? Try one of more than 50 restaurants offering special prices on 3 course dinner. 

Indianapolis Home Show - Indiana State Fairgrounds -  January 25-February 3 - Get decorating and landscaping ideas, tour the Centerpiece Home and meet celebrity speakers. This annual show is at the Indiana State Fairgrounds through February 3.

Food Truck Rally on Georgia Street

Have you tried any of Indy's Food Trucks? If not, Friday through Sunday is the perfect opportunity to do so. It's the Food Truck Rally on Georgia Street.

Starting  Friday afternoon at 3pm, more than 20 food trucks will be rotating on Georgia Street. Here are a few of the trucks you will see downtown: Hoosier Fat Daddy, Spice Box Indy, The Flying Cupcake, Big Ron's Bistro.

The trucks will be open on Friday from 3-8pm, Saturday from 11am-8pm and Sunday from 11am-5pm.

Free Admission to Celebrate MLK Day 2013

The kids are out of school on Monday for Martin Luther King Junior Day. To celebrate his legacy, many area attractions are offering free admission.

White River State Park - Visit many of the park's attractions from 9am-4pm for free with the donation of one non-perishable food item per person, per attraction. The food drive benefits Gleaner's Food Bank. Here's a look at what you can do for free at WRSP.
·         Indianapolis Zoo
·         Indiana State Museum
·         IMAX Theater - "Born to Be Wild" and "To the Artic" - Free tickets until 5pm.
·         NCAA Hall of Champions - Former Butler basketball player Ronald Nored will lead story time from 11am-2pm.
·         Eiteljorg Museum
·         Victory Field - Get free health screenings.  Everyone who participates in screenings will receive two free tickets to the Indians opening Day on April 4.

Indianapolis Museum of Art - 11am-4pm - Kids can enjoy special art-making activities.

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis - Enjoy free admission from 10am-3pm. The museum will host special performances.

Indiana History Center - The Center is hosting free performances by Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, storyteller Deborah Asante, Traci's Urban Dance Jamm Studio and more. The museum is open from 10am-5pm

Rhythm! Discovery Center - Have you been to the Rhythm! Discovery Center yet? If you child likes music, you need to check it out. The Center is offering free admission from 10am-5pm.

Conner Prairie Interactive History Park - Enjoy special activities from 10am-5pm.

Madame Walker Theatre Center - Watch a live stream of the inauguration ceremony inside the theatre as part of the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration that begins at 11am. Before the program, The Indianapolis Urban League will host a breakfast at 9:30am followed by a "Freedom Walk" to the Madame Walker Theatre Center at 10:30am.  

IPS Crispus Attucks Museum - The museum invites you to see the Civil Rights exhibit "The Man and the Movement" and the documentary "Legacy of King." You can also watch the inauguration of President Obama. The event is from 11am-4pm.

This event is not free, but it is a fun way to spend the afternoon - Harlem Globetrotters at Bankers Life Fieldhouse - 2pm - Tickets start at $25.

**FREE** Dallara Indycar Factory - Family Fun Day - Saturday, January 12 - Enjoy free admission to the Dallara Indycar Factory on Saturday from 11am-2pm. The Family Fun Day is a celebration of the  inauguration of governor-elect Mike Pence. Guests must pre-register and are asked to bring a non-perishable food item. The Dallara Indycar Factory is located at 1201 Main Street in Speedway.

**FREE** Circle of Stars 2013 - Gymnastics Invitational - Friday, January 11-Sunday, January 13 - See junior and senior athletes compete in this gymnastics invitational that is part of the Nastia Liukin Cup Series. This free event is from 8am-5pm at the Indiana Convention Center.

Indiana Ice vs Green Bay Gamblers - Bankers Life Fieldhouse - Friday, January 11 at 7:05pm and Sunday, January 13 at 3:05pm. - Take your family to see ice hockey at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Tickets are $11-$29 for adults; $9-$26 for ages 3-10 and 62 and older; $7-$20 with military ID.

Young Actors Theatre - The Lion Witch and the Wardrobe - January 11-20 - See this classic story by C.S. Lewis on stage. Tickets range from $10-12. The show is at the Athenaeum Theatre, 401 E. Michigan Street.

Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center - Winterfest 2012 - Now-January 5 - The Lilly Hall has been transformed into a winter wonderland for Winterfest. Enjoy crafts, face painting, Music and more.

Great Train Expo - Indiana State Fairgrounds - January 5 and 6 - Visit this traveling train show featuring model railroad, train dealers, collectors and hands-on exhibits. The Expo is Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm. Tickets are $7 and 12 and under are free.

Conner Prairie - Winter Fun Days - Now-January 6 - Children can learn the science of baking, enjoy a story by a fire, watch a chocolate-making demonstration and more. Winter Fun Days are from 10am-5pm. Admission is $12 for adults, $9 for ages 2-12. Conner Prairie members are free.

ComedySportz 4 Kids - Saturday, January 5 - An interactive improv comedy performance for kids. Kids give the suggestions and they make up the rest. It's Saturday from 4:30-5:30pm and tickets are $8.

Mayor Ballard's Polar Bear Pedal II - Saturday, January 5 - Grab  your bikes and join Mayor Ballard for a casual 10-mile bicycle ride. Registration/Check-In is at 9am and the ride starts at 10am.
