If your children are into trains, you will want to take them to the World's Greatest Hobby Show on Tour at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Visitors will see more than 20 model train layouts and kids can take a free ride on a replica of Thomas the Tank Engine. The show is Friday from 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-5pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for kids 16 and under.
This is the last weekend to see Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz at the Children's Museum. Admission is free with museum admission, but you need to get free tickets from the Lilly ticket booth located in the lower level of the museum.
This is also the last weekend to see Jingle Rails at the Eiteljorg Museum. It's free with admission to the museum. Also, if you park in the garage, you can have your parking validated when you purchase your admission.
