A Family New Year's Eve

Looking for a way to ring in the new year with your family? Here are a few ideas.

Celebrate early at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. Take your kids to the Countdown to Noon. Enjoy music and special activities from 10am-3pm on Saturday.  The event is included in museum admission and is free for members.

The Indiana State Museum is hosting a Family New Year's Eve Celebration from 6-9pm on Saturday. Enjoy entertainment, dancing and a balloon drop at 8pm.  Tickets are $6 for members and $11 for non-members.

Take your family to a hockey game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Indiana Ice take on the Youngstown Phantoms at 6:04pm.

If you would rather get on the ice instead of watching, go ice skating at the Indiana/World Skating Academy at Pan Am Plaza. For a schedule click here.

With the warmer weather predicted for this weekend, take your family on a walk around Monument Circle to enjoy the Christmas decorations. Stop in The South Bend Chocolate Company for hot chocolate and a treat or head over to Starbucks for a warm beverage.

Happy New Year!
