Best Bets for the Weekend

This weekend, get started on your holiday shopping. The Christmas Gift and Hobby Show is at the Indiana State Fairgrounds through Sunday. Tickets are $10 for and kids 12 and under are free, but you can get a $2 off coupon by visiting their website. You can also visit Santa Claus at the show.

Take your children to Beef and Boards Pyramid Players presentation of Pinocchio. The show is only one hour long and includes a snack. The show runs Fridays at 10am and Saturdays at 10am and 10pm through November 19. Tickets are $12.50.

The Music for All Bands of America Grand Nationals are underway at Lucas Oil Stadium through Saturday.

The Eiteljorg Museum's Jingle Rails, The Great Western Adventure is now open and runs through January 8. This model train exhibit will take you through some of our country's national landmarks, as well as local landmarks, and it's all made out off tree bark. Visit Mount Rushmore, the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and much more. The exhibit is included with museum admission which is $8 for adults; $7 for seniors; $5 for children 5-17 and children under 4 are free.

Your child has a few more days to enter the Circle of Lights Coloring Contest. Children ages 12 and under may submit an entry for a chance to flip the switch at Circle of Lights on Monument Circle November 25th. The entry deadline is November 15 at 3pm. One child will be randomly chosen from all entries. The winner will be contacted by November 18th.
