Family Friendly Halloween

The haunted house at the Children's Museum opens Saturday, October 15. Take your kids to Vampire Vacation. This kid friendly Haunted House is recognized by Rand McNally as one of the Top Ten Haunted Houses in the nation. If you don't want to get too scared, go during the friendly lights on hours.
Friendly Hours:

Tuesdays–Saturdays: 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
Tuesdays: 3:30–9 p.m.
Sundays: 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
Halloween*: 10 a.m.–3 p.m.(*only the Haunted House will be open on Halloween. Museum closed.)
Frightening Hours:
Wednesdays, Thursdays: 3:30–9 p.m.
Fridays, Saturdays: 3:30–9:30 p.m.
Tickets are $6 for members; $6.50 for non members. Children under 2 are free.


 
Go trick or treating with the animals. Halloween Zoo Boo at the Indianapolis Zoo is October 14-16-, 21-23 and 28-30 from 2-7pm. It is free for members and included with zoo admission. Kids can also enjoy activities in two pavilions, a new obstacle course and costume parade, and the rides feature a Halloween twist.




For a spooky evening, take the family to Headless Horseman at Conner Prairie. Take a hayride and watch as the Headless Horseman rides again. It's October 14-16, 20-23, 27-29.

Presale tickets are available at Central Indiana Marsh, MainStreet and O'Malia's locations beginning September 12.
