Best Bets for October 1 & 2

*FREE* Also in Sheridan, Green B.E.A.N. Delivery invites you to Fall for Your Local Farmer. Enjoy tasty treats, prizes, pumpkin painting, hayrides and much more. The event is at The Feel good Farm, 25325 Lamong Road in Sheridan from 1-5pm.

*FREE* Enjoy craft booths and entertainment at Plainfield Quaker Days. The festival is at the Plainfield Friends Church, 105 S. East Street from 10am-4pm.

*FREE* Head to the Hendricks County Courthouse Square in Danville for the Scarecrow Festival. Vote for your favorite scarecrow display and enjoy free entertainment, games, crafts and more.

*FREE* In Hamilton County, enjoy the 12th Annual Potters Bridge Fall Festival. Enjoy art and craft booths, kids' activities, entertainment and more. It's Saturday from 11am-3pm.

Waterman's Farm Market is hosting their annual Fall Harvest Festival now through Halloween. Enjoy hayrides, a pumpkin patch, live entertainment and much more. Waterman's is located at 7010 E. Raymond Street, Indianapolis and in Greenwood at 1100 N. New State Road 37. Hayride hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week, at Raymond Street Farm and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Greenwood Farm. Admission is $5 weekdays and $6 weekends at Raymond Street, $4 weekdays and $5 weekends at Greenwood. You can get a season pass that allows you unlimited access to both locations, all month long, for only $10!

In Hendricks County, visit Beasley's Orchard for the Heartland Apple Festival. Enjoy apple cider, hand-dipped caramel apples, hayrides, pumpkins and much more. It's Saturday and Sunday from 9am-6pm. There is a $5 parking charge.

Head to Fishers for the Fishers Renaissance Faire October 1 and 2. Shop from over 75 artisans, enjoy jousting, music, fire eaters and much more. The Faire is at the Saxony Development in Fishers off of I-69 on exit 10. Tickets are $10 for adults, children 5-12 are $5 and 4 and under are free.
